Dr. Rohan brings over a decade of clinical experience across Malaysia’s public and private dental sectors, with advanced specialist training in restorative dentistry and a particular focus on endodontics (root canal treatment).
He completed his postgraduate specialist degree in Restorative Dentistry (MClinDent) at University Malaya, building on earlier training that includes the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His clinical career began with the Ministry of Health, where he spent nearly a decade treating patients across general and specialist dental units in Pahang, including a dedicated posting in endodontics.
Dr. Rohan’s postgraduate research examined instrument wear and performance in root canal preparation, reflecting his close attention to the technical precision that good endodontic care requires. He has since gone on to complete further specialist training in implant dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, adhesive dentistry, and advanced endodontics, ensuring his approach stays grounded in current best practice.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Rohan is a part-time Senior Lecturer at MAHSA University and teaches Clinical Dental Practice at USIM, training the next generation of dentists — experience that keeps him closely engaged with the latest developments in dental education and technique. He is also involved in community dental outreach, including dental education initiatives with My Dentys Dental Clinic Group and for the Segambut community.
Patients under his care can expect a calm, thorough approach — someone who takes the time to explain what’s happening and why, and who treats even the most anxiety-inducing procedures with steady reassurance. Fluent in English, Malay, and Tamil, Dr. Rohan is able to put a wide range of patients at ease in the language they’re most comfortable with.
