Dr. Rohaida Abdul Halim

Dr. Rohaida is a paediatric dentist, educator, and researcher passionate about helping children overcome dental fear and anxiety. Trained at the University of Otago, New Zealand, she holds a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric Dentistry and advanced certifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (Asia).
Combining science and compassion, Dr. Rohaida integrates hypnosis, behaviour management, and gentle care techniques to make dental visits more positive for children, including those with special needs. She is a Fellow of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (FIAPD) and President-Elect of the IADR Malaysian Section, with research focusing on dental anxiety, parental influence, and child oral health.
Her dual expertise in paediatric dentistry and clinical hypnotherapy positions her uniquely at the intersection of dental science and behavioural management.
Dr. Rohaida practices at Pristine Dental Centre, NU Empire (Subang Jaya).
