Dr. Puvan Balasingham obtained his primary dental degree from University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004.
Dr. Puvan was awarded a scholarship to pursue specialist training in orthodontics at the University of Edinburgh in 2008, after having worked with the Ministry of Health Malaysia for four years. He successfully graduated with a distinction in the Masters in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) Orthodontics from that university. He later obtained the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2011.
He worked as a specialist orthodontist with the Ministry of Health Malaysia prior to leaving for private practice in 2018. He has extensive experience in the treatment of both simple and complex multidisciplinary cases in children, adolescence and adults and in dentofacial orthopedics and cases requiring maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Puvan is committed to improving the smiles and overall dental health of patients of all ages and is meticulous in planning and carrying out the related orthodontic treatment to ensure every patient receives the very best outcomes. He has full knowledge and experience in the latest orthodontic treatment and techniques and is focused on providing the most suitable treatment to each patient’s requirements and expectations.
